The Nexus infrastructure.
At Nexus, it is our business to understand the technical aspects of email sending. We do that so you don’t have to. Your time should be spent focusing on your business and your marketing messages, not on whether or not you fully understand email deliverability. But you do need to know a few of the basics, which we can help you with.
Deliverability is key.
Sender reputation is one of the most important factors in email marketing campaign management. Internet service providers (ISPs) keep any eye on email senders and if they think you are sending spam then they will label you that way. Once that happens, it will be hard for you to send an email that doesn’t go into your subscribers spam filter. We work to build quality relationships with every ISP so that your sender reputation remains high.
Our first step.
Every new Nexus customer works with an Internet consultant to set up an account and to organize the first email campaign. We want to make sure you understand what is necessary within your email content and email lists to avoid being labeled as spam.
Feedback loop
When an email recipient marks your email as spam, you will be notified through Nexus. From here we can determine if and when your subscriber opted-in to your subscriber list and rectify your spam label.
Protect your rep
Nexus has incorporated the Sender ID and DomainKeys technologies into its system so you can be sure your customers are who they say they are. By protecting your sender reputation you ensure your emails are delivered to all your subscribers’ inboxes, not their spam boxes.
Handle bounces and unsubscribes
An integral part of our email marketing tool, is our efficiency in handling bounced back emails and unsubscribe requests. Both of these issues should be addressed immediately. If your list is not correctly updated, your reputation could be at risk.
Easy subscribe process
Nexus has a built-in unsubscribe option in every email you send. Likewise, we make subscriber opt-in easy too. All subscribers have access to a preference center where they can manage their subscription.
Monitor deliverability
We are constantly working to locate problems with email delivery. Nexus watches the leading ISPs using monitoring tools. We also monitor blacklists regularly.
Absolute secure servers.
We protect all the information you load into the Nexus system by storing that data within protected servers. This data includes your subscriber email addresses, email files, and stored reports. These servers are guarded by one of the most secure types of firewall to protect against hackers, viruses, and other potential threats. This system also makes certain that you can access your data at any time.

A data center houses our servers. To ensure your information is safe with us, this center is secured at all times using sophisticated biometrics and sensor technologies.

Back-ups
We understand that hardware and software may fail. In anticipation of this, we back up every single piece of the Nexus system by one or more other technologies. Your data is protected from any kind of failure.
The strictest privacy
We don’t share your data with anyone. We will never email your subscribers or contact them in any fashion. Very few staff members have access to your data and that is only so we can provide you with support when you need it.
